The Board of Review assists the Building Division by issuing Contractor Licenses, reviewing complaints against contractors, considering requests for variances to the Universal Building Code, and mediating disputes between contractors, citizens, and the Building Division. The Board of Review, which is appointed by the Board of County Commissioners, is comprised of nine volunteers from the local construction industry. They meet once each month.
