Sheriff's Office Privacy Policy

Pursuant to Colorado Revised Statutes (CRS) § 24-72-502, the Teller County Sheriff's Office (TCSO) is posting this notice of our privacy policy for the purpose of standardizing the collection, storage, transfer, and use of personally identifiable information by TCSO.

This is the first step toward becoming a member of our family.

  • TCSO supports the protection of individual privacy
  • TCSO will only ask for the minimum personally identifiable information necessary to complete a particular transaction
  • TCSO abides by the Colorado Open Records Act (CORA)
  • This privacy policy extends to the collection of all personally identifiable information, regardless of the source or medium
