The Teller County Sheriff's Office Reserve Section is comprised of Colorado Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certified volunteers who augment the Operations Division and Teller County Jail (Detentions) of the Teller County Sheriff's Office. Each commissioned reserve may work alongside the agency's regular deputies or may work independently on special projects. Each reserve deputy is provided one uniform (pants and shirt). They must purchase all other associated equipment. Are you interested in volunteering for a unique law enforcement opportunity in this county?

Currently Colorado POST Certified or able to receive certification if you're from out of state
Meet the office's employment requirements. This includes (at a minimum) background investigation, written testing, and an oral board.
